Dear Realtor,
One of the realtors who regularly reads this e-newsletter wrote and suggested that we mention a few recommendations of EB-5 Regional Centers here in South Florida. They are as follows:
Paramount Miami Worldcenter
(A project of the EB5 Financing Management Company, LLC)
http://www.paramountmiami.com/
Skyrise Miami
(A project of the Miami Metropolitan Regional Center)
http://skyrisemiamieb5.com/
The Highlands (Miami)
(A project of the Florida First Regional Center)

Doral Hilton Doubletree
(A project of the American Opportunity Regional Center)

Whenever you’re working with a Regional Center, you must find out if there will be finder’s fees or not. Most are not paying finder’s fees on the actual investment, as it conflicts with SEC regulations and you would have to have a Securities Broker license to be able to legally accept finder’s fees on the investment portion of your client’s transaction.
Besides that, your foreign national clients need to be aware of what process is in place for the release and return of their investment after the conditions have been removed from their permanent residency status. There is generally a great amount of documentation that needs to be reviewed carefully before signing. Use caution when advising and try to find a regional center with the safest, simplest way to get the investment back at the end of the investment period.
As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions on this or other legal issues.
Sincerely,
Don Gonzalez, Esq.
